A Brief History

OHIO IS REAL is an exploration of the people, places, events, and history that shaped the state and, in turn, the country and world at large. When Ohio was founded, it was the Wild West of its time. Free of costal constraints, its citizens were inventive, pioneering, and uniquely Ohio. Phooey on that flyover nonsense. Here’s hoping that some of that original spirit remains and that we can honor and capture some of it on this site.
